These are extremely lightweight sailboats with slim, eggshell hulls that sport deep-fin keels and tall, carbon-fiber masts. These sailboats get swiftly accelerated even with the slightest breeze. These sailboats are ultra responsive to rudder and sail-trim commands. These boats are typically meant for the experts sailors.

The best option for a beginner is choosing a cheap “ready to sail” sailboat at first instance. You should learn sailing and improve your skills on a ready to sail rc sailboat, and when you are proficient enough, you can go for assembling and building your own sailboat.
